How we impact on Global Sustainable Development Goals?
4. Quality Education
İsbir Sentetik drama club has been established in 2019 to increase the motivation of the employees. Our collegues have been performed 13 shows since 2019 as a free of charge and the tickets of these shows had a financial contribution to educations of the High Schools of Balikesir. We also support our R&D employees on their doctoral studies and thesis.
5. Gender Equality
Achieving the goal of improving women’s employment has become a priority in Isbir Sentetik. Ultimately, diversity and gender equality help the creativity and long-term success of a company. No employee must be discriminated because of their sexual orientation.
7. Affordable and Clean Energy
By 2030, we should increase substantially the share of renewable energy in the global energy mix, and ensure universal access to affordable, reliable and modern energy services. Meanwhile we are working deeply on Renewable Energy Projects to avoid fossil fuel usage and to decrease our greenhouse gas emmissions The biggest Solar Enery Project of Balikesir belongs to Isbir Sentetik. We have further projects which we will implement in the near future.
8. Decent work and Economic Growth
We are achieving higher levels of economic productivity through diversification, technological upgrading and innovation, including through a focus on high-value added and labour-intensive sectors We are protecting labour rights and promote safe and secure working environments for all employees.
9. Industry,Innovation and Infrastructure
We need to increase resource-use efficiency and greater adoption of cleaned and environmentally sound industrial processes. By calculating carbon foot print of our Corporation and one unique product; we will be aware about our greenhouse gas emissions and will make necessary innovations in order to neutalize it till 2030.
12. Responsible Consumption and Production
By 2030, we need to substantially reduce waste generation through prevention, reduction, recycling and reuse. That’ s why we are calculating our wastes with “waste counter”.
